How Chef Meg does Mardi Gras

Chef Meg likes to stick to family friendly Uptown for her favorite parade, Krewe of Thoth. This early afternoon parade rolls at noon on Sunday, February 7, 2016. Meg and her family and friends all converge at her in-laws' house on Tchoupitoulas, a block away from the parade's beginning. 

They grill out in the back yard and watch the parade and party all Sunday. Chef Meg says, "The goal is always to make it to Bacchus."
