We are so pleased that you are considering hosting your party at Café Adelaide. We want entertaining at Café Adelaide to have the same ambiance and hospitality as that of entertaining in your home.
Attached you will find guidelines and suggestions developed to ensure that your party will be a great success. Copies of our private party menus are also enclosed for your review. We request that you plan one set menu for parties of more than 12 guests. If your party includes 12 or fewer guests, you may choose to order directly from the restaurant menu.

Breakfast: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m.
Saturday & Sunday 7:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Lunch: Monday -Thursday 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Friday 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
We are closed for lunch on Saturday & Sunday.
Dinner: Sunday -Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday - Saturday 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Private Dining Areas:
Our private Turtle Room can accommodate a maximum of 28 guests. We can build a rectangular table for up to 15 guests. Parties larger than 15, will be set with round tables each seating a maximum of 7 guests. Based upon the dimensions of the room, round tables are the only configuration for 28 people.
Our semi-private Wine Room, which is separated from the restaurant by curtains, can accommodate a maximum of 60 people with a variety of seating configurations available.
These two rooms may be combined for larger groups. The entire restaurant is available for cocktail reception and seated dinner buy-outs.
Menu & Guest Guarantees:
Your pre-selected menu is requested at least two weeks prior to your party. Our menus offer fresh ingredients and they change seasonally. All prices are subject to change.
We ask that you guarantee the number of guests attending your party five working days prior to the event. This number will be considered the guarantee for which you will be charged (food, tax & gratuity) even if fewer guests attend.
Room Decorations:
We are pleased to coordinate services to create a particular theme, be it a centerpiece or an extensive room arrangement. Floral arrangements can also be made through your party planner. Balloon bouquets are provided complimentary upon request. A guest is welcome to supply his or her own decorations as well. Complementary menus will be provided for your event. Menus may also be personalized upon request.
Audio Visual:
Café Adelaide can provide an audio visual screen free of charge, upon request. A complete selection of equipment is available for an additional fee. Please advise the party planning staff of your event requirements and room set-ups. Please remember that we can only accommodate presentations and audio visual equipment in the Turtle Room.
Transportation & Parking:
Complimentary valet parking is available at the front entrance of the hotel. Your attendees should tell the valet that they are dining in Café Adelaide when they arrive.

Payment:
Payment in full is expected at the completion of your party. We accept all major credit cards. A 22% gratuity will be added to the final bill for a party of 8 or more. New Orleans sales tax of 9.75% is applicable to all checks. You are welcome to pre-pay with a credit card if it is more convenient for your party. We are unable to provide individual checks for parties larger than ten.

Hors d’oeuvres passed on a silver tray can be an elegant addition to any party.

Cocktails
For guests hosting a plated event, in our Turtle Room or Wine Room, a cocktail reception can be held in either the private dining room or in our Swizzle Stick Bar and hotel lobby. Cocktail prices are based on consumption and can be on a cash basis or hosted. Your party planner can assist you in coordinating these details to best suit your event.

Cocktail receptions can be held in our private Turtle Room, our semi private Wine Room and in our Swizzle Stick Bar and hotel lobby. A bar can be set up in the Wine Room and in the Turtle Room.
